Why this Book? In 8th grade we were assigned book reports to do over Spring Break. I was assigned The Count of Monte-Cristo and put it off until Thursday of Spring Break. So I read the whole book(73 chapters, 500+ pages) in two days and wrote a 14 page book report by Tuesday of the following week. After turning in the report, my teacher told me that I only had to read 1/2 of the book(Good Timing!) But, I loved the book and it was the first “real” book I had read. That’s why I chose it.
