Katie Noe
Student: Katie Noe
Why this book? This a beautiful, moving novel that first sparked my interest in Algerian literature. After reading this book, I started working on an undergraduate thesis on Tahar Djaout for the Gaines Center and I now plan to continue studying French African literature as a graduate student of French. I also want to call attention to the book because the copies of Djaout’s novels at the Young Library are in fragile condition and I hope that they will be preserved for future students like myself to use.
NOTE: This book was sent to the bindery and had been rebound. 🙂
