Title: Slaughterhouse Five
Student: Stephanie Niemeyer
Why this book? Slaughterhouse Five‘s satirical, dark, comic, and in certain aspects nonfiction accounts of Billy Pilgrim and the fire-bombing of Dresden stuck with me more than almost all other books I have read. It was the first Vonnegut book I read and is still one of my favorite books of all time. “So it goes.”
