Why this book? In the vast sea of music, this work is my absolute favorite. I had the honor of performing this masterpiece twice with the University of Kentucky Symphony Orchestra during the course of my music study. The raw emotion I experienced on stage while playing this piece goes unmatched. Mahler speaks to my soul!
