Title: Blindspot: hidden bias of good people
Author: Mahzarin R. Banaji & Anthony G. Greenwald
Student: Latarah Elliott
Why this book? The reason I chose this book is because during the spring semester of my senior year, I was required to complete hours for my practicum at Lexington United. This non-profit requested that I take a look at this book to help me better understand prejudice reduction and racism for my assignments. I actually found the book to be very interesting after reading it and was glad I had the privilege to do so. With so many different racial issues occurring in this world at the moment, I felt it was very enlightening. 🙂
