Rebecca Cheatham
Author: Fyodor Dostoyevsky
Student: Rebecca Cheatham
Why this book? Reading Crime and Punishment in high school, I became interested in the Russian philosophy that permeated his works. By the end of each of his books, I’m left with a new outlook on life and literature that I don’t typically receive with other authors. The Idiot is one of my favorite works by Dostoyevsky and encouraged me to pursue a minor in Philosophy while at UK.
