Why this book? Breakfast of Champions is an absolutely fabulous book and it has been my favorite since my middle school librarian suggested I read it in 2009. Vonnegut blends science fiction and satire in a way that’s incredibly engaging and his writing style makes every paragraph an adventure with quick tangents and anecdotes. This book helped me to expand my tastes and better understand how people think about the world.
