Title: Overcoming the Five Dysfunctions of a Team
Author: Patrick Lencioni
Student: Rebecca Cheatham
Why this book? Each of Lencioni’s books teaches a valuable lesson about leadership or teamwork. Through my program, his writings have helped guide me to be both a better team member and leader in class and life. Unlike those who simply point out things that are wrong or need improvement, Lencioni provides ways in which to improve, particularly within this work. Because of these teachings, I strive not only to point out what is wrong, but realize one’s own capabilities to improve the situations.
