Why this book? I have read this book more than five times, and after every read, I catch something new. The book highlights how humans descend into savagery in a world without structure and civilization. It exposes the deepest and darkest thoughts that are harbored in the human mind. The book helps me realize that power can be intoxicating and in the simplest form, most people will do anything to stay in power and relevant.
