Why this film? I picked this movie because I can personally relate to Judy. Growing up in Haiti, and being the first to graduate with a Masters Degree in my family, I had to overcome many challenges. Several lessons I learned from this movie include:
1. To never let other people crush your dreams
2. Always dream big
3. Always see the best in people
4. Learn to take risk, otherwise you will never get anywhere
5. Learn to believe in yourself
6. Never give up
