Why this book? I chose these two titles because, each story is very satirical and both novels possess relevant themes for today’s world. I found each novel to be very impactful, and an interesting look into the culture of the 1920s. I have always been a voracious reader, but Sinclair Lewis introduced me to the enduring power of satire.
