Why this book? Frankenstein seemed like the obvious choice for me. I have read it three times: as a high school student, for a British Literature Survey class here at the University of Kentucky, and for an independent study my senior year. I presented on the novel at the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society National Convention in late March of this year. What is most special about this book, however, is being the extremely organized person that I am, I lost this book after having checked it out of the library for three months. I purchased a new version to replace the old one, which is now the version housed in the library.
