Carolyne Millsap
Title: Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon
Author: Spider Robinson
Student: Carolyne Millsap
Why this book? Spider Robinson is an excellent author who has never failed to entertain me. Callahan’s is a welcoming place full of regulars that are willing to listen to any visitor’s problems, no matter how strange. I could escape the stresses of my day by reading stories from talking dogs, time travel, vampires, mythical beings, extraterrestrials, and a few otherwise normal humans who are in a rough spot. “Shared pain is lessened; shared joy, increased.”
