Shelby Clark
Title: Home Rule: Households, Manhood, and National Expansion on the Eighteenth-Century Kentucky Frontier
Author: Honor Sachs
Student: Shelby Clark
Why this book? This book is the reason I fell in love with research. I used it as the main source for a project in a history course I took about Kentucky. This was one of my favorite courses and I feel as if I learned so much from this book. I also used this book as a major tie-in for the research that I did through the Learning Lab. This book will always hold a special place in my heart. It has taught me so much about my state, my discipline and women’s role in history. I am forever thankful that I gave it a read!
