Why this book?  When I first picked up this book by a local, Kentucky author, I did not expect to feel so captivated by her storytelling. It is an inspiring book full of stories, poetry, and songs with a taste of what Appalachia is truly like. I have always loved a good book about community and faith, and this one is truly worth reading.
