Abi Peck
Title: Jenny Saville
Author: Mark Stevens, Richard Calvocoressi, a conversation with Sally Mann, and a chronology by Lauren Mahony
Student: Abi Peck
Why this book? I chose this book for two reasons. One being that the artist Jenny Saville is very influential to my own work as an artist. Studying Saville’s work has led me to make many breakthroughs with my painting. The second is that this book belongs to the Fine Arts Library, which is the library branch I worked for throughout my time at UK. One of my favorite things about having and working for a fine arts library is that it allows students such as myself access to resources with high quality color plates such as this book, which might not be as accessible otherwise.
