Title: A Little Life

Why this book? This is a book I read in high school that had such a marvelous impact on me. It’s dark, and it deals with trauma, pain, grief, and growth, and it’s something that is so difficult to get through because it is unapologetic in how it deals with all of these things. But for a young teen who was struggling with their gender, their sexuality, their home life, and their existence, it made me a lot more comfortable in see what I could do and what I was capable of.
