Title: So You Want to Talk About Race
Author: Ijeoma Oluo
Student: Fatima Bryant
Why this book? I received this book for free from the Anthropology Department around the time it was first released, but didn’t start reading it until June 2020 which was the perfect time. It was important for me to read because it helped me to realize that although I may have negative experiences in some situations, I still have many privileges that I have failed to recognize. It also taught me important history about American society that I can share with those in my life.
