Title: Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Titan’s Curse
Author: Rick Riordan
Student: Eleni Karelis
Why this book? I read The Titan’s Curse for the first time when I was nine years old, and it was the first book I read that yielded a sincere emotional response. Rick Riordan’s ability to uplift stories from communities who are often not represented left a mark on me as a young child, and his novels inspired my love of literature that has carried into my adulthood and career. Recently I revisited The Titan’s Curse and was reminded of why it was one of my favorites.
