Why this Book? Originally I saw the movie, Anastasia, with Ingrid Bergman and Yul Brenner. Interest in the main character led me to read books about Anastasia’s parents, Nicholas and Alexandra, the supposed imposter, Anna Anderson, who claimed to be Anastasia, and Rasputin, the evil monk who had a profound influence on Alexandra. This is the way I like to read. Find one person that I am interested in and read books about them and the period in which they lived.
