William A. Jackson
Title: How to win friends and influence people
Student: William A. Jackson (Tony)
Why this Book? I chose this particular book because the writing of Dale Carnegie is as relevant today as it was almost 70 years ago. You’ll be amazed at how this book can literally change your life for the better. It was one of the first “self-help” books of its kind and has seen many imitators over the years. This book isn’t based on dry theory, but on the experience of students in Dale Carnegie’s courses, who applied the ideas to find out what really works in more effective human relations. And many other things may have changed, but human nature hasn’t changed over all these years. I chose this book because Mr. Carnegie has a crisp, lively writing style that makes it an easy read and prevents you from putting it down. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to really grow in life.
