Why this Book? This is the book that first sparked my mom’s love of reading, which she began to share with me when i was only four by reading this book aloud at bedtime. Growing up hearing these stories has forever changed the teacher and the person I have become. This book and the others that follow it, have shaped my view of the world and what it means to be successful. It has influenced my love of history, of the land and of stories. Above all, this book has taught me extraordinary things can happen to ordinary people and that magic lives every day.
