Dan Garrett
Title: Romeo and Juliet/William Shakespeare
Student: Dan Garrett
Why this book? This was the first book I checked out from the library here. I used it to audition for my first play here at UK which was Romeo and Juliet, last semester. Although I didn’t land a part, the whole audition process was a fun, new experience for me and the footnotes in this particular edition really helped me to grasp Shakespearean English since I had no idea what he was trying to say in most of the lines.
