Why this book? While working in the Government Publications department I worked to have pieces in the collection bound. This was one of the titles that a co-worker, Alexa, and I bound. We had fun spending every other Thursday on the project. The reason this book is purple is because out of all of the binding colors this was our favorite. I chose the 2009 volume because this was the year I was privileged enough to come to the University of Kentucky. This book reflects my time working here in Government Publications, the people I’ve come to know, and all the memories I’ll leave with.
