Title: The Hunting and Exploring Adventures of Theodore Roosevelt: told in his own words
Student: Palmer Grigsby
Why this book? Being a hunter and fisher, reading about outdoor adventures from the late 1800s and early 1900s has always fascinated me. However, the stories told in this book mean more since it was written by the 26th President of the United States. Politics aside, no one seemed to live life like Teddy Roosevelt. His adventures in the Dakotas, Colorado, and Wyoming capture the true American hunter, while his hunting trips abroad still captivate and amaze people even to this day.
