Why this book? No other work of literary fiction has had such a profound impact on the Science-Fiction genre, or provided such accurate commentary on the value of life. In its own unique way, it shows just how fleeting life is, and how every moment that we have should be savored. Considering how often we as humans take life for granted, I view this book as a must-read for everyone.
